Special Olympics – Founded in 1969, Special Olympics Southern California (SOSC) uses sports as a vehicle to transform the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and their families. SOSC provides free programming year-round, including sports training and competition, health screenings, wellness education, and athlete leadership development. Our vision to promote acceptance, inclusion, and well-being for people with intellectual disabilities is made possible by the dedicated volunteers and generous donors who support our cause.
