New West Symphony (NWS) – The New West Symphony (NWS) runs an education program called Symphonic Adventures. It presents this program at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks and the Oxnard Performing Arts Center in Oxnard. NWS currently reaches 11 school districts in Ventura County where it provides training and materials for teachers and students in the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. The NWS mission is to inspire passion for symphonic music through live performances and education initiatives that engage and enrich its diverse audiences.
