A directed donation or grant is when a donor wishes to designate the specific non-profit organization to receive the monies donated.
The Foundation welcomes these donations but must consider them only if the designated organization meets the criteria set out by the Foundation in the Grant Process/Procedures, and the receiving organization completes and agrees to the terms in the Grant Application Form. The Grants Committee will confirm that all criteria are met.
Directed grants must be no less than $10,000 to any one organization and may have processing or handling fees depending on the arrangements for the grant. These grants may be anonymous or the donor may be named if (s)he so wishes.
